They get off to a slow start the first year but they multiply quickly after that.

Flowers of 'Wisely Blue' are more uniformly blue than the species. Color is still somewhat variable.

In full bloom 30th March 06. Planted 7 years ago, squirrels dinner 2 years later in cold winter. Reappeared slowly, suddenly took off!
