This vine is much hated by farmers. It strangles out crops and can take over an entire field. Often seen growing by roadsides all over Texas.

The leaves are fuzzy on both surfaces. The bloom resembles the wild potato vine's bloom.

Texas Bindweed (Convolvulus equitans) bloom which does not have the purple eye and is a very pale pinkish color. This variant that was destroyed to make room for an apartment complex.
