Flowers arise above these to around 18" in late summer to autumn. Very deep 2 tone pink petals, a large boss of gold stamens surrounding a largish green ball-shaped seed pod. Flowers around 2.5" across.
Very good as an underplanting around shrubs such as rhododendron, and will tolerate quite a lot of shade.
