This is a nice pot plant, but in the ground, becomes a messy, twisted mass of pale green knobby branches. Not totally sure of its cold h...Read Moreardiness, but surviving in zone 10a OK... could be more hardy than that. It can be grown in a pot and will form a small caudiciform stem and make a fascinating specimen... but eventually may need to be cut back. Flowers are maroon and though small, are still noticable on plants in full bloom.
