When I waited for the entire fruit to turn red, the tomato became mushy. When I picked it when about half ripe, it was a very good pasta tomato. It can survive when surrounded by weeds, but is a pain to harvest owing to the ripening habit. I will grow only 3 plants next year and report the results. If I can figure this one out, it seems worth the trouble.
