This i...Read Mores the only plant that I have found that will tolerate the heat of summer, and yet put up with the dark of winter, in this zone. The root temp remains fairly constant however, as it is planted in a garden bed island that is sunk in a brick patio surround and grown (fairly) close to the house. A great problem solver foundation plant for this type location. (Other croton have not faired as well in this space).
