Helianthus, Double False Sunflower, Perennial Sunflower, Thin-Leaved Sunflower 'Loddon Gold'

This is a lovely plant. The stems are strong and sturdy and
the flowers are a double deep gold. Spreads but slowly.

I was given a 6" clump of these to plant by a neighbor in 2001, the picture shows this same clump in fall 2004. It is approximately 2-1/2' wide by 2' deep. In a normal year the flowers top 5', but 2004 was a poor growing year with too much rain and too many cloudy days.
