Slugs leave them alo...Read Morene, possibly because of the covering of small soft "hairs" all over each leaf. The flowers are delicate and gorgeous. Last summer, these plants, even though they had been recently planted, were drought tolerant, and wilt-resistant. Overall, a really lovely and easy plant. Much better in my experience than cultivar 'Iron Butterfly'.
