The couple that owned the house previously ...Read Morehad planted it behind a Mountain Ash tree so that it doesn't get much sun and the tree slurps up all the nutrients from the soil. Because it is out of sight for most of the year, going completely dormant once it has finished flowering, it does not get watered very often either. I must say that few other plants would continue to bloom like this with so little care and attention. Very good for a beginning gardener.
