Planted in spring 2016, last summer I presumed it was a goner, but it is now thriving. It seems to have a strictly horizontal growth habit, but every branch sports flowering buds. It is reminiscent of Cumberland rosemary (Conradina), but its emerald green foliage lends it more substance. It seems to enjoy the direct sun it receives in the heat of afternoon. My fingers are crossed, but it appears I've found the right plant for this challenging spot. I planted some Chinese foxgloves behind it. If this ensemble works I'll be thrilled.
