They continued to grow through fall. This past winter was the warmest I can remember and these plants never died back...they didn't grow anymore, but never died. Now that it's spring, they're covered in beautiful blooms!
I planted three of the Indian Carpet Mix, and got basically one variety of dianthus. While they are nice, I did want the different color...Read Mores all together. That is one reason for a neutral rating. The other is that while the plants got huge this year, the middles are all floppy, bare, and have yellow leaves; this is only the second year I've had them. I pinched them back early in the season, so I'm not sure why this is the case. Any recommendations?

Lovely old-fashioned flower that reseeds readily. One of my favorites!
Short - Plant 12" to 16" apart. zone 3-9 Very dwarf form, 6". Shades of white, pink and red in unique patterns on each blossom.
