I bought this rose in a 5 gallon container and placed it near the back fence where it gets morning sun. The roots very quickly grew through the container into the dirt. It looks like it is a container rose but it really is not. Does anyone know how to transplant such a situation. I am soon moving to Denver and would like to take this hardy rose with me.

I live 5 blocks off the Pacific ocean and get morning fog and cool to very cool breezes with temps mostly 60 to 75 degrees F. in the summer. My roses are highly susceptible to mildew because of the fog conditions, but this rose, even when stricken, will survive and bloom on anyway- a huge plus for me!
