A cross of McIntosh and Golden Delicious, it was developed in 1926 at the British Columbia Experimental Station in Summerland and released in 1959. Fruit is large, oblong to conical, with yellow skin flushed and streaked with carmine and reddish-orange. The greenish-white flesh is soft, tender and very sweet. Ripens in September and is a good keeper.
