The apple is good as both a dessert apple and a cooking apple and tends to ripen over a period of several weeks. The fruit is large and variable in size with waxy, greenish skin which ripens to a rich yellow color. The flesh is greenish-yellow, firm, crisp, and very juicy. Ripens August to October.
