This primrose is really just for the collector. It is in fact, one of the hardiest species, growing on wet tundra from NW Canada, Alaska...Read More and Siberia. Plants are very small, under 4" with rosy violet to lilac flowers. It will require a cool, very moist soil in cultivation. Unlike most members of the farinosae group, this one has minimal farina.
