It usually gets about 6 to 8 feet high, but can be a larger shrub or a small tree 20 to 30 feet with a trunk 3 to 6 inches in diameter. The narrowleaves are linear of about 6 inches long and 1/8 to 3/8 inches wide with a few widely spaced teeth on the leaf margins.

i see this alot around here. they grow in the drainage ditches and in low lieing, flooded areas.
