It is scab resistant, has a lovely bloom, makes a smaller than average tree, ripens pretty early, in September here. It doesn't keep long, but the taste is fabulous, and it makes heavenly dried apples and would probably make great sweet cider, but I haven't tried that. Apple size is medium to medium small. It is a cox type apple, but milder than Cox.
