'Navaho' berr...Read Moreies a few weeks later than 'Mohave', the berries are a very bright and attractive orange, and they remain so until Spring. 'Mohave' berries, on the other hand, are relatively short-lived. The berries of 'Navaho' are especially attractive if located so that the winter sun can find them. 'Navaho' leaves are relatively long and skinny, and the habit is a bit wild and sprawling. 'Navaho' is mostly hardy here in zone 6/7, but was killed to the ground 6 years ago; the roots were unaffected and in 2-3 years it had regrown and was again attractive.
