Here in Cypress I grow two crops, spring planted April 1 and Fall planted August 1.
Mild in heat, we used the Sahuaros instead of sweet bell pepper in cooking and salads for their more "peppery" taste without undue spiciness.
Cut and seeded, they freeze nicely for use during the non-growing season.
Best Anaheim/Numex so far. I've tried several varieties, Sahuaro had provided the most consistently large and flavorful results I've encountered yet.
