I bought this plant a few years back and put it in part shade and it never did much at all. However I recently moved and brought the plan...Read Moret with me and put it in full sun. It has completly taken off becoming thick and lush and is loaded with buds about to burst into full glorious bloom! As of yet has not been invasive at all.
Also I'd like to add that the flowers are a TRUE blue. Beautiful!
The species is a common lawn weed in northeastern N. America and on the west coast. Much hardier than indicated above.
