Lo and behold, ...Read Morefrom a wayward seed this summer to now, it is bearing fruit! Quite alot of it. The only thing is, this and our other pepper plants, have these black, thorny looking bugs the ants love to attend to. We do not know what they are or where they come from. Soapy water and wiping with a damp cloth (with some selective pruning) help control the "buggers." Can't wait to try using the peppers in our cooking!!!!

A Bolivian pepper. This thing may not bear until the second year so a green house is necessary for those of us in temperate zones.
