It has adequate Dutch Elm Disease resistanc...Read Moree but susceptible to Elm Phloem Necrosis and to Elm leaf Leaf Beetle. It is a good looking tree that is globular in habit. It has been planted up around the Twin Cities of Minnesota in urban plantings and liked there. I don't see great use for it in North America; better in Europe where it is more native.
