Closer to 3' tall in Western NY, it required staking in my windy conditions, as well as extra water during our drought to control blossom...Read More end rot. Sparse leaf production does not make it an ornamental, but the peppers were thick, up to 14" long and dried well. Somewhat sweet, mildly hot flavor when eaten fresh or dried. The name made every garden visitor smile.
