It basically is a Vanhoutte Spirea that is more compact and less arching. Instead of getting 6 to 8 feet high, it is 4 to 6 feet high. The mother species is the Threelobe Spirea from China, and into central Asia and Siberia, that is one of the parents of the Vanhoutte. Blooms with lots of white flower clusters in May after the leaves have emerged.
