I planted a small (~1-2') one at my late pare...Read Morents home in York, Pa. 41 years later, it is still doing quite well, despite being close to an imposing Rivers Copper beech. It's height and width are ~15×15'. Over time we have done selective pruning to open up its scape and form...sort of an oversized bonsai type appearance.
Nonetheless, it is quite remarkable in its dainty extended bloom period...upwards of three weeks!
I highly recommend it for use in any landscaping.
