It may be called Buxton Blue, but mine was pink until this year, and now it is blue. That may be due to the weather; an extremely hot summer (southeast Michigan, USA) followed by much cooler days.
I would like to plant some in the sunny side of the yard, so I just collected some seed pods, but I will also try to find some seeds from somewhere else.
Blue or pink or in-between, this is a plant that is good to have.
Note: I tried to transplant some, but it did not work.

Thi...Read Mores plant is a sprawler, wonderfully intemingling with its neighbors. Mine is growing with coreopsis verticilla "Moonbeam" and salvia "Maynight".
It truly blooms most of the summer with fairly large flowers that are lavender blue fading into white a center.
