It is ...Read Morea good-looking species with dark, shiny, narrow, sharp-shaped leaves with sharp leaf teeth. Its bark is not as pretty as the American or European species as its bark was not smooth and beech-like. Morris Arboretum is full of a number of Asian plant species that I, a professional horticulturist in eastern North America, have never seen before. I went to the arboretum to really take shots of American native species for my photo collection.
