At the time, it was a single tiny stem that flopped to the ground. After just 1 year it's already multi-stemmed and about 4' high. Based on moisture meters, it seems to take a lot less water than any of my other baby desert trees and is growing pretty quickly. I haven't found many pictures of this one online - so I'm not sure what it'll look like fully mature, especially in cultivation. But so far it's taken our very hot stormy summer and desert winter very well.
