I am in the process of returning our 5 acre block to native vegetation and have found this species to be the easiest fastest growing low maintenance tree to date. It's a fantastic looking tree with almost perfect vertical shape. We run some sheep (for consumption) and I have found they are less inclined to attack seedlings the way they do other types. I would recommend this tree to anyone wanting quick low maintenance results with a beautiful look. I have just propagated another lot and am waiting for them to gain strength before planting out. They are difficult to propagate but the net can give you some good methods for success. A little bit of Oz in your backyard. Brilliant!!
