I wonder why and if this variety is susceptible to disease. If I find out more, I'll add another post.

Definately a good cooking apple. Flesh is white. Good all-around apple. Great for cider, too.

A medium-...Read Moresized apple with smooth yellowish skin mostly covered with dark red and crimson. The fine-grained tender white flesh is very juicy and does not brown rapidly after exposure to air. A reliable and highly productive tree which comes into bearing early. Ripens late September to early October.

A great pie apple.
