these attractive shrubs are attractive while in flower and fruit and they have brilliant autumn foliage which becomes orange, scarlet and...Read More red! they need acid soil with a high content of organic material to maintain moisture. this can be easily accomplished by adding sand and peat moss to the soil. a constant but moderate moisture supply throughout the growing season in necessary while over water for long periods is a no-no. i recommend using a liquid Azalea and Rhododendron plant food which can normally be purchased through your plant dealer or wal-mart :) all-in-all this is a marvelous plant to grow and i highly recommend it. The quarter size fruit that the blueray produces is extravagent!!!
