After 19 years the Cherrybark Oaks were the largest and healthiest. Many I have watched grew 3 feet in height per year for 20 years and then commensurately slower with age. I have seen a few around Nashville TN USA that are 100' tall and 5 feet through the trunk. It's a good and similar replacement for Northern Red Oak if diseases are attacking your Northern Red Oaks in your area. I'm attaching a pic or two of a nice big one in Gallatin, Tennessee which belongs to Alice and Myron. It is 92 feet tall, 105 feet spread, and over 5 feet through at chest.
