The leaves are narrow, shiny, grass like, around 30 cm long. The inflorescences emerge from the base of the pseudobulbs, with many small flowers comming in late summer. The flowers have pale green petals, a long, T-shaped labellum, with white lip and yellow gut. The lower face of the column is dark purple (the synonym "Ornithophora quadricolor" was given due to the green, white, yellow and purple flowers). They are not longer than 1 centimeter.
It can be planted on small pots with tree fern fiber, or planted on trees. Must be kept in partial shade, with high humidity, moderately high temperatures and regular watering.
