After...Read More a while (about one year) it bloomed and I thought it was beautiful. Two years ago I decided to move it to a new flower bed in front of my home and dug it up and transplanted it in the middle of summer. The plant took off. Prior to then ito only grew about 1 1/2 ft and was only about 1 1/2 ft wide. With in two years it is over 3 ft high and over three ft wide. I am just finding out what it is. It is in full sun, is draught tolerant as last year we had almost no rain for 8 - 10 weeks, and when it does rain, it falls over. I put a 12" wire cage around it and that holds it up beautifully. It is easy to care for. I only wish it wasnt so large as it has crowded out many of my other plants. Does anyone know if I can trim it back after it blooms? Sure would like to know
