Bougainvillea 'Monka'

I love this plant, I bought this from a master Gardner sale a couple years back, it was just a stem with a couple of leaves and I grabbe...Read Mored with for 3 dollars. It has beautiful dark green foilage.. It took until the second summer and I walked outside to see this beautiful Dark Pink flowers on it. It shot up over 7 feet in the air and just spread out, the winter came with a hard freeze and burnt it pretty bad, but the new sprout is coming out again and I can not wait to see what it has in store this year.
The thorns are quite big on them which may be a nusiance if I prune the plants, but other then that it is Just Eye Candy for me.. So I have no complaints for this beautiful plant.

Any information on divding the plant would be great.
