Lovely lilac pink flowers and dying down in summer gives the opportunity of planting through it.

I bought some tubers...Read More and planted them in the fall. Some flowered the following spring. The following spring, only a few returned. The next year all were gone. This was in a bed in partial shade with silty soil that was not heavily irrigated.

The flowers are attractive, and I've been meaning to try it again in another location.
