The plant is vigorous and robust with medium large vines and a wide range of (intermediate) disease resistances. Produces fine quality fruits that are cylindrical in shape, thin-skinned, fine-spined (smooth) and shiny green in color. The fruits measure 13-15 cm in length, have a length/thickness ratio of 3.9-4.1 and are very uniform. An excellent performer, with an even higher percentage of marketable fruits produced when grown on stakes. Resistant to downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis, US race), powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca fuliginea, IR), papaya ringspot virus (highly tolerant; resistance not set), watermelon mosaic virus and zucchini yellow mosaic virus. For open-field cultivation mainly, but is also grown on stakes. Suitable for fresh market and processing."
