I can't quite bear to give it a negative rating though, because it is just so cute! It is very small, maybe 3 or 4 inches tall, and seems to get done with its business of flowering (cute little pink things) and seed production before the spring and summer growing season begins in earnest. So even if it is invasive around California, I don't think it's ever going to become a serious problem in cultivated areas, or for that matter possibly not even in the wild, as it doesn't really seem to out-compete anything, just pops up in disturbed places in the springtime.
