We enjoyed this cucumber so much that we did not even eat our regular cucumbers when they were producing. These cucumbers are much sweete...Read Morer and crisper than typical true cucumbers. Unfortunately, its production was much more sparse than a regular cucumber and we got about two cucumbers per vine for the entire year. I'm not sure if this was a result of of our cool northern climate or that it was planted in a very sandy patch of soil...or that this is typical for this species (which I understand is a closer relative to a melon than a cucumber).
