It has conical to egg-shaped pseudobulbs bearing a pair of curved leaves on the top. The inflorescence comes from the base of the newest pseudobulb. It is fleshy, pendant, and bears up to 25 flowers. These flowers are white, and the lip is white with brown marks, it looks like it´s burned.
This plant needs high to average temperatures, light shade, high moisture and some humidity. The medium can be fiber, bark bits, or a mix of these with rocks. I heard they have been using coal as orchid medium for this plant with great results. Also, plant it in hanging baskets, since the inflorescence will grow downwards and will need space to grow under the plant.
