Leaflets are arranged in clumps along the petioles sticking out in all directions in each clump, giving a plumose appearance. The leafelts are lancelote to ovoid and drooping a bit. Majesting looking palm because of the sheer size of it, but not that cuddly looking. Spineless forms exist.
