Pleurothalis is one of the favorite genera for micro-orchid growers.
P. brittonii is a relatively large plant for a Pleurothallis, with thick, 15cm long, elliptic leaves. The inflorescence is shorter than the leaf, and it usually lays on the leaf surface. The flowers are small (but big for a Pleurothallis), with golden sepals, very small petals and a greenish lip.
