It is close to 2 ft. tall...Read More now and the pot has been outdoors 100% of the time. Our zone 11B but we get no heat over 82F. Will plant into the ground soon, in a partial shade where it can be exposed to full sun once it grows bigger and taller. My location is 140m (450 ft.) above sea level at 38 degrees latitude north in the Atlantic Ocean. It grows well and it likes to push itself up in the pot and expose its roots a little bit. Instead of repotting I will plant it into the ground. Very nice plant and so far no problems, looks beautiful.

It is a mod sized pa...Read Morelm with large, semicircular barley split costapalmate leaves (have a crease down the center). The leaflets are pendant once they split off. All the petioles arch a bit and the entire lower leaves tend to droop a bit. There is almost a bluish color to the leaves. The leaf bases are covered with a very light brown tomentum. Not sure if this palm has been tried in southern California yet, but it should do OK here.
