Each pseudobulb bears 2 pairs of long, flexible, yellowish leaves. From the base of the pseudobulb, in a leaf axil, the inflorescence emerges, bearing several medium sized flowers. These flowers have light brown petals with large, medium to dark brown spots. The lip is long, with the broad lower half in white, and the narrow upper half in purple, with two light purple, horn-like lobes near the column.
It needs organic medium, prefferably fiber or small bark bits, so the roots can breath freely. It needs moderate temperatures, light shade, some humidity and moisture.
The most interesting part of this plant is that every plant has distinct patterns on the brown spots on the petals, and even on the general shape of the flower, due to various possible positions and shapes the petals can get. This changes from plant to plant, so having more than one will never be boring, as they will always look different.
