In spite of the Memphis heat and humidity, it has never shown a sign of disease, nor dropped a single leaf from heat stress.
The growth habit is low and full (maybe 2 feet high), the leaves are small and dark green, and the flowers are like tiny pink cabbage roses. It flowers freely in spring and fall, and also sporadically in the summer (if watered!) The only drawback is the lack of scent.
