I have a 30" brick retaining wall to right of drive with back fill soil, fast draining. 2 Ceanothus Centennial were there, they were magnificent and died 5 years later because of too much water.
Once these settle in this winter and next year I'll turn the water down or off on them. I've never seen a low Grevillia, I was in landscaping and many new plants in good nurseries.

The branches are crowded with pointed leaves, and grow densely enough to supress weeds.
Like all grevilleas it produces lots of nectar, although nectar feeding birds appear wary of its low growth habit and are only occasional visitors.
