I think the only way to grow it is either in a large tub or in a bed on is own in the middle of a lawn (it can't compete with grass).
There is a variety called tenuissimus which has silvery, deeply divided leaves and paler peppermint pink flowers.
I like the normal plant more than the variety 'tenuissimus', because the flowers look slightly redder. If you can, try growing it from seed collected from the wild because flower colour can vary - I reared one plant which had flowers of a brighter reddish violet pink.
