Sam McGred...Read Morey the 4th, is a renowned hybridizer who created a line of handpainted roses that include Roller Coaster, Picasso, Old Master, Stretch Johnson, Pricilla Burton Regensburg, Michelangelo (The Painter), Little Artist and Maestro. The first of these was released in 1971, which he called Picasso, named after the great painter Pablo Picasso.
