The only reason it has not been placed on the Earth-Kind list is because it grows so large. I have to work to keep mine at 10' and it's probably close to that in width. It has no disease problems at all. I even have one which is growing in more shade than it prefers, but still it blooms (not as much as the one in full sun) and doesn't have disease problems. I never spray my roses and feed only twice a year.

*is fed spring and late summer with a mixture of 5 parts blood and bone to 1 part powdered sulphate of potash
