Stayed that way until several hard freezes (low 20's) in the first two weeks of February. Buds froze but the foliage was fine. It is now the 15th of March 2011 and it is covered with new buds and foliage and the first blossom is opening. (The only other rose I have that matches, and in fact exceeds, this performance is Old Blush). Do not prune this rose and use slow-release (two year) fertilizer tablets such as Agriform and Agsafe with a two inch hardwood or cedar mulch. (I have had excellent results using AgSafe tablets when planting my potted roses, however do NOT use tablets on bareroot roses for at least a year).
